Hi, my name is Adrian Lee from VIDEOLANE.COM.
The Yolobox Pro is a dedicated live streaming device I use to broadcast with multiple cameras to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and sometimes to Tiktok, all at the same time.
I am about to document in real-time, aka live, step by step how I set up my Yolobox Pro and check out how to use the new updated features.
If you are watching the recorded version of this live stream, feel free to jump ahead or backward to the chapters you are interested in by moving the play head along the video progress bar.
Also, go to the description to see links to the live-stream gear and accessories as seen in this video.
Let’s jump right in!
I have updated my Yolobox Pro to version 3.0.0 which can be verified by going into the user account settings.
1. Video Cropping
I can now do the following with the new video cropping feature.
- Crop a video as a new source.
- Set the cropped video aspect ratio as 16:9, 9:16, or any customized aspect ratio.
- Set the new cropped video source as a zoomed-out look.
The maximum number of cropped video sources, for now, is two. I wish we may get more in the future.
2. Naming and Locking Graphic Overlays
Here’s what I can do with the new graphic overlay features.
- Give each Graphic Overlay a unique name.
- Lock a graphic overlay with a video source.
It doesn’t work for multi-views, countdown timers, and web URLs.
3. Video Background for Multi-Views
These new multi-view features make my stream look more exciting.
- Choose a video or animated GIF as a background for a multi-view.
- It works for Side-by-side and News Layout views.
- Use the 4 built-in images and 1 video clip, or choose from the SD card or a portable storage drive.
- Adding borders for Side-by-Side, News Layout, and Triple with different colors and thicknesses.
I wish there are more built-in video backgrounds for me to choose from.
4. Loop Local Video or Stop at the Last Frame
I can now loop a local video from the SD card or stop at the last frame when it completes playing.
5. Chroma Key Detailed Number Adjustment
The Chroma Key feature now has a detailed number adjustment for the Similarity and Smoothness option.
6. Comments from All Platforms in One Tab
This feature is the one I wanted for a very long time. It’s now here and it makes my life so much easier.
- See comments from Youtube, Facebook, and Twitch in one tab.
Previously, I had to switch to the individual platform tab to check for comments. I can still do that now, but I never have to.
7. Live Stream Settings are Saved
Previously, whenever I complete and exit a live stream, all my video source and multi-view settings will be lost. I had to set them all up again in the next new stream.
Now my settings are all saved when I exit a live stream, so I don’t have to set them up all over again.
The same happens when I duplicate a past event.
