What Happened to Windows Movie Maker
Movie Maker was officially discontinued on January 10, 2017.

The free download is no longer available on the official Microsoft website.
Microsoft recreated a new dumbed-down video editing app and released it in late 2017.
The new “feature-poor” app can be found in Microsoft Photos for Windows 10.

There is hope though for those of us who love the functionality of Windows Movie Maker.

There seems to be another version which can either be free or pro for $4.99. Free version seems OK but very basic. Anyone tried the pro version?
