How do you shoot and edit a short travel vlog? How do you tell and narrate a travel video story?
I visited a fruit farm in Malaysia during a business trip.
There is no travel story in mind but I wanted to show what I’ve experienced.
So this is how I shot, edited, and narrated a short 26-second Travel vlog story.
- Shoot a lot of videos – During the farm visit, I shot whatever interests me, especially when I’m participating in any hands-on activity.
- Edit for Tiktok – Tiktok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels are my platforms for sharing my experience in less than 1 minute.
- Pick an angle – I narrowed it down to the most interesting part of my visit which is what I learned about the coffee plant.
- Research and narrate – I did a quick research on what I can talk about coffee and voiced over my videos back home.
- Show and tell – Other than telling where coffee comes from, I showed my face as proof that I was there, including riding the truck to the farm.
The entire creation was shot, edited, narrated, subtitled, and published with my Samsung Galaxy S10 Android phone and Capcut mobile video editing app.
