My Latest Gear Setup for TikTok Live Stream
Recently, someone asked me, “I would be grateful if you could share the gear list of your live stream (for TikTok Live).” I get this question often, so here’s an overview of my current setup. It’s worth noting that my setup is constantly evolving as I explore better tools, but here’s my latest configuration:
The Core of the Setup
Yololiv Instream

A direct, stable connection to the internet is non-negotiable for uninterrupted streams. The cable is plugged into the Instream’s Ethernet input.
Accessories and Peripherals
- BenQ 27″ Monitor
- Purpose: Large screen for monitoring the stream.
- Connection: Instream HDMI output.
- 100W USB Power Adapter
- Purpose: Provides consistent power to the Instream via USB-C power input, ensuring the device doesn’t run out of juice mid-stream.
- Lenovo Headset
- Purpose: For audio monitoring during live sessions.
- Connection: Instream headphone output.
- Sandmarc Compact Tripod
- Purpose: Hold the Yololiv Instream vertically using the 1/4-inch screw hole.
Audio Setup
Here’s where things stay minimal:
- Microphone: None. I rely on the built-in microphone of the Logitech C920 webcam to capture audio.
