Today I want to share how I’ve set up my gaming live stream to broadcast simultaneously on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and TikTok. The goal was to achieve 2K resolution and 60 frames per second, and I’m excited to walk you through the entire process.

The Gear at the Heart of My Setup
- YoloBox Ultra: This is the centerpiece of my setup, allowing me to stream to YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch all at once in 2K resolution. I’ve configured the frame rate to 60 FPS and set the bit rate to 8,000 kbps for crisp, smooth video.
- YoloLiv Instream: For streaming to vertical platforms like TikTok and Instagram, the Instream steps in. Currently, I’m streaming to TikTok, and the resolution here is limited to 1080p at 30 FPS.
- Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (Gaming Laptop): Connected to HDMI input number two on the YoloBox Ultra, this beast handles all my gaming needs. I’ve extended the display to two external screens (one via USB-C and the other via HDMI).
- OBSBOT Tiny 2 Webcam: This webcam is plugged into USB input number one on the YoloBox Ultra and provides face-tracking and capabilities. It overlays the gameplay with the picture-in-picture layout
- Logitech C920 Webcam: Connected to the YoloLiv Instream via USB, this webcam also features in my setup. It’s used as my vertical face cam which is overlayed by the the YoloBox Ultra’s video output.
- USB-C Power Adapters: Essential for keeping the YoloBox Ultra and YoloLiv Instream powered throughout my streaming sessions.
- HDMI Cables: These are crucial for connecting all video sources, including the gaming laptop and the output to the YoloLiv Instream.
- Ethernet Cables: These ensure a stable and reliable internet connection, minimizing any disruptions during the stream.
- External Monitor: Extending my gaming laptop’s display to an external monitor lets me see my game game on a big screen.
Setting Up
- Connecting Everything: The video output from the YoloBox Ultra feeds into HDMI input number one on the YoloLiv Instream. The Instream’s camera, the Logitech C920, is connected to USB input, adding another layer to the stream.
- Configuring Audio: Gameplay audio comes through in stereo from HDMI 2, while my voice is captured by the OBSBOT Tiny 2 webcam via USB 1. Although you might hear my laptop fan in the background, the webcam’s noise reduction does a fantastic job minimizing it.
- Power and Internet: Both the YoloBox Ultra and YoloLiv Instream are connected to the Internet via Ethernet cables for stability and are powered by their respective USB power adapters.
- Audio Monitoring: I use monitoring headphones connected to the YoloLiv Instream’s audio output to ensure everything sounds perfect.
This setup allows me to stream seamlessly across multiple platforms with high quality and minimal lag. Feel free to check out the full video for a detailed walkthrough and gear list.
