Recently, I streamed a one-hour sponsored live workshop where I demonstrated mobile video editing. I wanted to show both my talking head and the phone screen at the same time.
I used the Yololiv Instream, the all-in-one vertical live-streaming studio.
The talking head camera is the Lumix, tilted 90 degrees. An external podcast mic is attached to capture my voice. The Lumix is connected to HDMI input number one.
The overhead camera is the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The True Visage app provides a clean video output. It is connected via a Lightning to HDMI adapter to HDMI input number two.
Picture-in-picture video is activated to overlay my talking head camera on top of the overhead camera.
Using overlays, I added a lower third and a countdown timer. I also inserted an SD card to record the live stream.
