There are many ways to make laser beams. In this Capcut Edit Tutorial, I document how I shoot laser beams using only Capcut.
- First, record yourself shooting the laser.
- Open Capcut and start a new project. Select the recording and tap on Add.
- Select Text and Add Text. Type in a few underscores.
- Go to Effects and choose Luminance. Select the color of your laser beam.
- Resize, Rotate and reposition the laser beam to match your laser gun.
- Shorten your text clip to about 10 frames long. Adjust the timing to match the visual.
- Go to Animation. For the In Animation, choose Wipe Left. Adjust the duration halfway. For the Out Animation, also choose Wipe Left.
