In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a unique greeting card video using just your smartphone and the CapCut app.
No fancy equipment or editing skills needed! Just follow these simple steps, and you’ll be sending out heartfelt video greetings in no time.
Step 1: Lights, Camera, Action!
Start by recording a quick video of yourself. Keep it short and sweet – just a few seconds is all you need. A simple greeting, a funny message, or even just a smile will do the trick!
Step 2: Enter the CapCut Zone
Open the CapCut app and start a new project. Select your recording from your phone’s gallery and tap “Add” to bring it into your timeline.
Step 3: Add Your Message
Now it’s time to add your written greeting. Go to “Text” and then “Add Text.” Type in your message – get creative and have fun with it!
Step 4: Let’s Get Vocal
Want to give your card a voice? CapCut makes it easy! Go to “Text to Speech,” choose an AI voice that you like, and tap the checkmark. Now your message will be read aloud in the video.
Step 5: Sticker Up!
Time to add some personality! Go to “Stickers” and search for graphics that fit your message or the occasion. CapCut has a huge library of stickers to choose from, so go wild and add as many as you like.
Step 6: Effects Galore!
Want to add some visual flair? Go to “Effects” and browse through the many options. Find one that complements your video and apply it with a tap.
Step 7: Sound Off!
Almost done! Head over to “Audio,” then “Sound Effects,” and search for a sound that fits your video. A little background music or a fun sound effect can really enhance your greeting.
Step 8: Trim and Export
Take a look at your masterpiece! Trim any clips that need adjusting and make sure everything flows smoothly. Once you’re happy with it, hit “Export” and choose your desired video quality.
Congratulations! You’ve just created a personalized greeting card video that’s sure to impress. Share it with your loved ones and watch their faces light up!
