Hey, Adrian! How to convert a vertical video to a landscape video in Capcut?
Easy, let me show you how!
- Open Capcut and start a New Project.
- Select the vertical video and tap on Add.
- By default, Capcut will format the entire video based on the first clip you select.
- Go to the main toolbar and select Format. Choose 16 by 9 for landscape.
- The vertical video will now fit into a landscape format with two black areas on the sides.
- Go to the main toolbar again and select Canvas. Select Blur and choose the extreme blur.
- The black areas will now be filled up with the blurred version of the same video.
Sometimes, I like to enlarge the vertical video a little bit to crop off the top and bottom if they are not important.
