First, I recorded myself squatting in front of the ship’s chimney. Pretend to peep over like a giant. Climb over the chimney one leg at a time. Then walk away.
Next, I recorded the chimney for about 8 seconds.
- Open Capcut and start a New Project. Select the recording and tap on Add.
- Move the timeline forward to where I walked out of the scene and Split the clip.
- Apply Overlay to the chimney recording and drag it to the front.
- Apply Chroma Key to the second layer.
- Use Split Mask and Keyframes. Adjust the mask to allow the legs to go over one by one.
