Where’s Google Hangouts On Air?
On 12 September 2016, Hangouts On Air has moved from Google+ to YouTube Live.
This means that:
You’ll schedule all Hangouts On Air events using YouTube Live, not Google+.
If you have Hangouts On Air events that were scheduled on Google+ on or after September 12, 2016, you’ll need to delete them and then recreate them on YouTube Live.
Switch to YouTube Live
With YouTube Live, you can still:
- Start new Hangouts On Air events
- See the Hangouts On Air events that happened before September 12, 2016
- Schedule Hangouts On Air events for a later date and time
