Feiyu Pocket 2 Review and Comparison

Everyone’s talking about DJI Pocket 2, but not many mention the Feiyu Pocket 2. The Feiyu Pocket 2 has many features the DJI Pocket 2 does not have.

The Feiyu Pocket 2 is a 4K Video, Compact 3-axis Handy Gimbal Camera with Magnetic Body, 12MP Sensor, Built-in Speaker, External MIC Interface, and Joystick.

Let’s take a look at some of its main features.

Main Features

• 130-degree Super Wide Angle Lens – We choose Super-wide, Wide, and Narrow. The super wide-angle is exactly what I need to replace my GoPro Hero for travel vlogging. Cool 👍.
• Shoots up to 4K 60fps Resolution – This is a requirement these days for all modern cameras. So I will be less impressed if it does not shoot 4K video resolution. 👍
• Support Sound Loudspeaker and External Microphone – It has built-in speakers to hear our video playback. We can also attach an external microphone via the USB-C port using a USB-C Audio Adaptor from Feiyu. I wish I don’t have to get yet another adaptor just to make work though. 👍
• Built-in Beauty and Face-tracking Function – Glamour effect? Great for girls. Good for me to remove my wrinkles. Face Tracking function? I have to test this out personally to find out if it is true AI or just motion detection.
• Breakpoint Resume Shooting Function – This means we can pause video recording instead of stop recording. Very useful for in-camera editing to save time. 👍
• Joystick – I can control the camera direction with the joystick, which I often use with other gimbals. 👍
• All-metal CNC Process Body – I can imagine a premium feel instead of a plastic feel. CNC simply means it is precisely measured and made by machines, which is an expensive process.
• Magnetic Attraction – The body has a built-in magnet that sticks to metal surfaces so that I can shoot hands-free. Very useful only if there is metal stuff around me.

So that is 5 👍 thumbs-up from me if I were to use the Feiyu Pocket as a vlogger and YouTuber.

What else? 3.6-hour battery life, 1.2-hour charging time.
