If you are wondering where to get music for your business videos without getting into copyright trouble, then let me introduce to you the site that I use.
First of all, let’s make it clear. For my personal vlogs, I use free (zero dollars) music, but for client videos, I buy and use (from $20) royalty-free music.
Royalty-free music means you pay for the music once, and you can use it many times after that without paying royalties (terms vary among vendors).
If you are creating a video for your business, please do not use free music, because viewers who know what’s free, may lower the perceived value of your business.
So here’s where I buy royalty-free music for corporate videos and the reasons why I buy from here.
I like to buy royalty-free music from AudioJungle, and here are the top 3 reasons why.
- PRICE. Starting from around US$20 per piece of music, it is considered reasonable compared with other royalty-free music sites with similar music.
- LICENSE. You get a downloadable license in PDF and text file to prove that you bought and have the right to use the music. I submit this many times to YouTube.
- Download Availability. All the music and license that I previously purchased are easily available for download anytime from within my AudioJungle account.
Among my favorite genres are motivational corporate background music, epic music for event highlights, as well as non-corporate music for weddings.
If you can’t find the music you want from AudioJungle, check out the other royalty-free music sites here.
If you still insist on getting your music for free, check out my favorite free music site here.

You’re right when you say that you must use royalty-free music when making videos for your clients because it adds value to your work. It’s not the same as using copyright-free music to download for free.
