Become a Temple Giant with This CapCut Trick!

Here’s what you’ll need:

A smartphone with CapCut installed
A location with trees and a building (like a temple!)

Let’s get started!

Record your footage:
- First, pretend to be a giant walking over the trees. (Imagine you’re taking HUGE steps!)
- Next, record the empty background for a few seconds. This will be used to create the illusion.
Open CapCut and add your recording to a new project.
Move the timeline to where you are positioned under the trees. Split the clip at that point.
Apply the “Overlay” effect and drag the overlaid clip to the beginning of the timeline.
Go to “Remove BG” and select “Custom Removal.” Use the “Brush” tool to carefully paint over the trees and the roof of the temple. This will make those elements disappear from the overlaid clip.
Move the timeline to where your first leg is over the trees. Split the clip and duplicate it. Apply “Overlay” to the duplicated clip and drag it below the original clip on the timeline.
Go back to “Remove BG” and “Custom Removal.” Use the “Brush” to paint over your first leg in the overlaid clip.
Move the timeline to where your second leg is over the trees. Split the clip.
Use “Remove BG” and “Custom Removal” with the “Brush” to paint over your second leg.
Finally, move the timeline to where your head goes under the temple roof. Split the temple clip at that point and delete the remaining portion.
Play back your masterpiece! You should now appear as a giant walking over the trees and behind the temple.
