Adobe CC (Creative Cloud) is still around going forward. It’s the old CS6 (Creative Suite 6) version that is being discontinued.
Why does it matter?
It matters because some of us are relying on Adobe Encore, the DVD authoring software, which is available via installing Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
As a paid subscriber to CC, I had access to install the CS6 version.
Not anymore.
I received an email from Adobe today stating…
“…We have recently discontinued certain older versions of Creative Cloud applications and as a result, under the terms of our agreement, you are no longer licensed to use them. These applications include Creative Suite 6, which Creative Cloud customers have been able to download as part of their subscription... Please also be aware that should you continue to use the discontinued version(s), you may be at risk of potential claims of infringement by third parties.”
Does it affect me? No. I have already found a DVD authoring replacement to Adobe Encore.
Check out more in my other posts.
See you in the next one!
