This is a quick blog post… because I am rushing to a seminar shoot this afternoon.
Did you know you can download YouTube videos in perfect high definition?
Of course the video has to be high definition in the first place.
First, let me tell you a secret.
Two months ago, I hired a Videographer in Thailand to shoot some interviews.
(I was there earlier, but did not get a chance to interview everyone on time)
So I was back in Singapore and the interview videos were shot in Thailand.
How did my counterpart in Thailand deliver the videos to me?
Using YouTube and a free YouTube download software!
(This was his idea, not mine, but it worked)
He shot the videos in HD 1080p (that’s full high definition) and uploaded them to YouTube in HD 1080p (encoded into MP4 at 6 MBPS video bit rate).
To cut the story short (I have to go grab lunch now before driving off to shoot)…
The software he recommended was Freemake Video Downloader.
When I am free, I will make a video tutorial on how to maximize this free software.
