Sony Vegas Auto Preview Not Showing Video?

After upgrading to a later version of Sony Vegas, your Auto Preview may not show video in the preview window. You may get only sound playback. Playback from the timeline works fine.

Here’s how to solve the problem in 2 steps.

1. Go to the Trimmer window.
2. Turn off the Show Video Monitor button.
